Lamb Chops O'brien

Total Time: 1 hr Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 6 lamb chops
  • seasoning salt
  • 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed cream of celery soup, undiluted
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 (24 ounce) package o'brien potatoes, thawed
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup frozen onion rings

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350°f.
  • 2 fry or bake onion rings until extra crispy.
  • 3 cool and finely chop; set aside.
  • 4 in large skillet, heat oil, brown lamb chops and drain.
  • 5 sprinkle chops with seasoned salt and set aside.
  • 6 in large bowl combine soup, milk, sour cream, pepper and 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt.
  • 7 stir in potatoes, 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, chopped onions and half of the chopped onion rings.
  • 8 spoon mixture into 9x13-inch dish.
  • 9 arrange chops on top.
  • 10 bake covered for 35 to 40 minutes until chops are done.
  • 11 top with cheese and remaining chopped onion rings.
  • 12 bake 5 minutes.
