Lamb Chops With Poblano Pepper And Onion Cream Sauce - Atkins -

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 center-cut lamb chops (about 10 oz each)
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 cup poblano pepper, seeded and chopped
  • 1 cup yellow onion, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup water

Recipe

  • 1 heat olive oil in large skillet over med-high heat until hot but not smoking.
  • 2 season lamb with salt and pepper, and cook 4-5 min each side, until golden brown.
  • 3 transfer lamb to plate and keep warm.
  • 4 reduce heat to med-low.
  • 5 add poblano chilis, onion, salt, and pepper and cook, stirring occasionally, for 6-7 minute.
  • 6 stir in cream and waer and bring to simmer.
  • 7 add lamb chops and cook for 2 min each side.
  • 8 transfer to platter and pour cream sauce on top.
