Smoked Ribs

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 2 baby back rib racks
- 1 cup butter
- 1/2 quart vinegar
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
- 1 (12 ounce) bottle marinade (such as dales, moore's, or allegro, allegro is the best)
- 1/4 cup your favorite barbecue rub
- 10 -12 hickory wood chunks
- 1 quart water or 1 quart apple juice or 1 quart beer
- barbecue sauce
Recipe
- 1 prepare smoker.
- 2 combine butter, vinegar, lemon juice, and marinade in a large pot.
- 3 bring to a boil on the stove.
- 4 drop racks of ribs into the mixture and cook until they turn brown (usually 5-10 minutes).
- 5 remove and let cool for 5-10 minutes.
- 6 rub ribs with barb-que rub of choice.
- 7 pour water, apple juice or beer into the water-pan.
- 8 put a large handful of wood chunks on-top of charcoal.
- 9 cook ribs for 3 1/2 hours rotating them once during those 3 1/2 hours. after 3 1/2 hours, put on bar-b-que sauce and cook for an additional 30 minutes.
