Lamb Chops Luxembourg

Total Time: 1 hr 15 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb bacon
  • 2 lbs sauerkraut
  • 1 (15 ounce) jar applesauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/4 cup dry wine
  • 1 dash black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 6 lamb loin chops, 1-inch thick

Recipe

  • 1 dice bacon & saute until crisp.
  • 2 drain on paper towels.
  • 3 mix bacon, sauerkraut,applesauce, sugar, mustard, wine, & pepper.
  • 4 saute chops on both sides until golden-brown.
  • 5 place chops on top of bacon mixture in a casserole dish.
  • 6 cover & bake at 350f for 1 1/2 hours.
