Lamb Chops Merlot

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 4 lamb chops, 1/2 inch thick
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon dried rosemary, crumbled
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 3/4 cup merlot

Recipe

  • 1 in skillet, heat oil and butter; add lamb chops browning well on both sides.
  • 2 add vinegar, rosemary, and pepper.
  • 3 reduce heat; cover and simmer 10 to 15 minutes.
  • 4 remove lamb; keep warm.
  • 5 add wine to pan; heat until sauce is syrupy, about 5 minutes.
  • 6 spoon sauce over lamb chops when serving.
