Lamb Chili With Greens

Ingredients
- Servings: 8
- 1 1/2 lbs ground lean lamb or 1 1/2 lbs turkey
- 2 (15 ounce) cans kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 2 (15 ounce) cans petite diced tomatoes (do not drain)
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 8 ounces kale or 8 ounces spinach, coarsely chopped
- salt and pepper
Recipe
- 1 cook lamb in lightly greased large skillet until browned, about 10 minutes, crumbling with a fork.
- 2 combine lamb and remaining ingredients, except kale, salt and pepper, in slow cooker.
- 3 cover and cook on low 6-8 hours, stirring in kale during the last 20 minutes.
- 4 season to taste with salt and pepper.
