Lamb Chops In Orange Sauce

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 4 boneless lamb loin chops
  • 3/4 cup orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 6 whole cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated orange peel
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cold water

Recipe

  • 1 combine paprika and pepper.
  • 2 rub over both sides of lamb chops.
  • 3 in a large nonstick skillet, brown chops over medium heat.
  • 4 combine the orange juice, sugar, cloves and orange peel.
  • 5 pour over lamb.
  • 6 cover and simmer for 18-22 minutes or until meat juices run clear.
  • 7 remove chops and keep warm.
  • 8 in a small bowl, combine flour and water until smooth.
  • 9 stir into cooking juices.
  • 10 bring to a boil.
  • 11 cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thinkened.
  • 12 discard cloves.
  • 13 serve sauce over lamb chops.
