Lamb Chops In Sour Cream Sauce

Total Time: 1 hr 10 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 6 lamb loin chops
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons onions, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon instant beef bouillon or 1 beef bouillon cube
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sour cream

Recipe

  • 1 in a large skillet, brown the lamb chops.
  • 2 add 1/2 cup of water, the brown sugar, onion, ketchup, garlic and bouillon cube.
  • 3 cover and simmer 30 to 40 minutes or until tender.
  • 4 remove lamb chops to a serving platter and keep warm.
  • 5 in a small bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of flour with 1/4 cup of water.
  • 6 slowly add to the cooking liquid.
  • 7 cook until thickened, stirring constantly.
  • 8 stir in the sour cream and heat thoroughly.
  • 9 do not boil.
  • 10 serve the sauce over the lamb chops.
  • 11 enjoy!
